The Power of Prayer
God invites us as his children to bring our needs to him in prayer. He has all the power we need to accomplish anything we might need, and he consistently urges us through Scripture to pray bold prayers of faith. At the same time, we must always have a posture of being yielded to his will, trusting his heart and wisdom to answer our prayers in the way that ultimately fulfills his good purposes for us.
You are welcome to join us online for a sacred 15 minutes each week as we cover our church, our community, our nation and our world in prayer. This virtual gathering of hearts united in faith is led by our Prayer Team Director, Maria Valentin-Welch.
Participants are welcome to voice their prayers alongside others, always with the objective of covering these important areas of our lives and God’s mission in his grace, guidance and protection.
Prayer Team
Our Prayer Team is composed of men and women in our church who are committed to praying as a ministry to others. In each service, we set aside a brief time where we invite anyone who has a need or burden or a joyful heart of praise for blessings received to come and be prayed over by one of our Prayer Team members.
We also offer the opportunity for attendees to fill out a Connect Card and include any prayer requests they have. Our Prayer Team and staff pray over all requests each week. Members of our team also are available to pray with those who come to our Care Pantry.

Prospective Prayer Team members must be mission partners at CrossTrail, complete our training process for this team, and maintain strict confidentiality.
