College ministry
We love college students! And we want to help you keep growing in your faith as you enter this new and critical stage of life. We partner with Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF) on the UNC campus. CCF has a number of environments aimed at building you up and encouraging you to keep your spiritual growth as a top priority, even as you get your higher education. Those environments include:

Encounter
A gathering on Wednesday evenings at the Student Union which provides in-depth Bible study, worship and fellowship.

Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM
Room 3203 in the Union

Connect Groups
Small mixed-gender groups that meet on various weekday evenings for building friendships, spiritual discussion and prayer.

Mondays @ 7:00 PM
Room 2502 in the Union

Grow Groups
Smaller same-gender groups that encourage a deeper level of sharing, support, and accountability in your walk with the Lord.

Fridays @ 8:00am
Stone and Leaf Cafe
There are also lots of fun activities, a weekend retreat each semester, and even short-term mission trips that you can participate in!

Encounter
We have worship, fellowship, and a devotional led by our campus minister, with a catered dinner.

Wednesday @6:30pm
Room 2423 in the Union building

Connect group
A student-led bible study exploring the bible on a four-year plan to read the whole bible.

Mondays @7pm
Room 2502 in the Union building

You don’t have to go to UNC or even be actively enrolled in classes to participate in our college ministry. Anyone who is generally in the 18-23 age group is welcome! We also want to help our college students stay strongly connected to the larger body of Christ, the church, now that you’re away from home. We encourage students to join our church as their church “home away from home” and to get involved in serving and building multi-generational relationships that will help you along your spiritual journey. We even have a ride-share program to accommodate students without vehicles!
To learn more about our college ministry, please email ccfatunc@gmail.com and one of the leaders will contact you.

Greg Coverdale
CCF Campus Pastor at UNC
Greg Coverdale joins Campus Christian Fellowship with more than 25 years of experience in full-time local church ministry. A passionate follower of Jesus and ministry leader, Greg loves helping people discover the good news of Jesus and grow into devoted, lifelong followers of Him.
A few years ago, Greg and his wife, along with their three daughters, moved to Durham to plant Renew Christian Church, where they continue to serve and lead. He is excited to bring his experience and passion for discipleship to UNC and to invest in college students as they grow in their faith, develop authentic community, and learn to live out the mission of Jesus.
When he’s not on campus or at church, you’ll likely find Greg spending time with his family, working out at the gym, playing golf or other sports, or playing guitar and singing.
