Our community
CrossTrail Community Church is a non-denominational church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Founded in 2022, we are a Jesus-centered, Bible-teaching, grace-oriented family of believers who are here to show God’s love and to bring the Good News of Jesus to our community and beyond.
One thing that sets us apart is the level of genuine relationships that you can experience as you become part of our community. There is a spirit of unity and mutual care that is both tangible and real because of God’s presence among us. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome!

Our mission is walking with Jesus and inviting others along.
Everything we do is geared towards helping people grow to love Jesus more and more, and in that life-giving relationship to be formed and freed to walk in the goodness of his ways. We also want to be intentional about pointing others to him so that they, too, can experience his goodness and get in on his mission to set the world right one life at a time.
The best way to get to know our church family is to come experience it yourself! We encourage you to “Try 5” Sundays with us to get a good feel for the church, to get acquainted with a few people, and to find how you belong. We look forward to meeting you!
At our services, you’ll see relatively casual dress. It’s our hearts that God is interested in. We have a band and mostly sing contemporary praise and worship songs. We usually stand as we praise God, but do not feel that you must. There is seating for those with physical disabilities.
During the service, you’ll hear dynamic teaching from the Bible for about 35-40 minutes in a way that is understandable, compelling and always includes practical application to your life.
We also observe Communion weekly to remind ourselves of who we are in Jesus and all that he has done for us. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are welcome to join in. Otherwise, we encourage you to take a few minutes to quiet yourself before God and pray during that time.
There will be a few moments in which we encourage faithful giving and generosity in response to all that God has provided us in order to help us carry out his mission in the world. The money given goes towards all the different ministries we have at CrossTrail, as well as local and global outreach. You will not be put on the spot or pressured to give.
If you have children 5th grade or younger, we encourage you to let them experience our Trailblazer Kids ministry that takes place simultaneously with our worship service.
