free seminar
This free seminar by Emergency Chaplains provides three hours of gospel-centered instruction to equip you to care for friends, neighbors and coworkers in times of crisis, offering them comfort, hope and the love of Christ. Hosted by Parkside Baptist Church (1515 Clermont Rd., Durham) on Sat., April 18, from 9am to 1pm. Lunch included.
Celebrating Baptisms
We got to rejoice with angels in the baptisms of Gabriel Suarez and Leina Zerey on Easter Sunday! Join us in congratulating and encouraging these two as they continue to move forward in their new life of devotion to Jesus Christ.
New Mission Partners

Online Prayer Meeting
The Covering is a 15-minute online prayer meeting every Tuesday evening at 6:30. The purpose is to cover our church, our pastor and leaders, all of our ministries, and the upcoming worship service with prayer so that God’s grace and power and protection is over us. Add it to your weekly calendar! You can get on the video call from the new Prayer Ministry page under the Ministries tab.
Caring for the Hungry
Large numbers of families in our area are food-insecure. Imagine not being able to feed your family. Our Care Pantry helps meet this need by providing free groceries twice a month. Federal funding has recently been reduced causing a strain on our supplies. You can help by volunteering or giving, or both!
